The groupings, filters and cost metrics the provider's cost breakdown answers, each under the name the provider gives it. The dashboard builds the Cost Breakdown's menus from this.

Returns service breakdown in different formats: table (paginated), chart (aggregated), csv (export), raw (all records)
Get provider spending filter options GET
Returns available values for every filter dimension. Dimensions cross-constrain each other (AWS Cost Explorer behavior); each dimension excludes its own selections when computing its option list.
