Billing
How LevelFour bills through AWS Marketplace, what the Billing page shows, and where to download your statements.
LevelFour charges a success fee on the savings it realizes for you. The fee is billed and collected by AWS Marketplace, so it arrives on your AWS invoice rather than as a separate bill.
Open Settings, then Billing, in the dashboard sidebar. Every member of the organization can read it.
Your account
The top card identifies your billing setup:

| Client ID | The prefix on your savings line items |
| Billing frequency | Monthly, with the date of the next charge |
| Contract | Your savings share agreement and the date it started |
| Billing method | Billed and collected by AWS Marketplace |
View in AWS Marketplace opens your subscription in the AWS console.
Charging this month
Billing runs in arrears. The period charged this month is an earlier one, so the card names the period it charges and the date it bills.
| Figure | What it is |

| Savings | Savings realized in the period being charged |
| Success fee | What LevelFour charges on those savings, with the rate |
| Your net savings | Savings after the success fee |
Statements
Statements lists one row per billing period: the period, the savings, the success fee and its status. The status reads:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Invoiced | The fee is on your AWS invoice. AWS collects it on its own terms |
| Processing | The charge is on its way to AWS |
| Billing with a date | The period is closed and bills on that date |
| Scheduled | The period bills once the periods ahead of it have |
| In progress | The month is still running. The row says when it closes |
The running month shows Still accruing in place of its savings, because its total is not known yet.
Click Download on a row to save that period's statement. The first statement appears after your first billing period closes.
