Anyscale

Anyscale bills in credits, not currency. This connector estimates dollars by multiplying credit usage by the rate you enter. It is only as accurate as that rate, and it will not reflect anything your contract prices differently.

Prerequisites

An Anyscale platform organization.
An organization owner, to create a service account key. A personal API key also works but expires after at most 30 days by default and must be rotated; a service account key does not expire.
Your contracted rate per Anyscale credit, in USD.

Connect

Create a service account key in Anyscale

As an organization owner, create a service account and generate its API key. Copy the key.

Add it to LevelFour

Open Connect Providers, select Anyscale, and paste the key under Service account API key. Enter your contracted rate under Rate per Anyscale credit (USD). Click Add Service account API key.

Confirming it worked

The connection moves to Connected. Your first data appears within a day.

Rotating or removing access

Create a new service account key in Anyscale, paste it into Connect Providers, then revoke the old key.

Removing access

Disconnect Anyscale under Connect Providers, then revoke the key from Anyscale.

Troubleshooting

Symptom	What to do
Spend does not match your invoice	This is an estimate: credits times the rate you entered. Anyscale itself labels this usage data as approximate, and it may differ from your final bill
The key stops working after about a month	A personal API key expires by default. Use a service account key instead, which does not expire
Costs are missing for a customer-hosted (BYOC) cloud	Instance charges on a BYOC cloud may be billed directly by your cloud provider rather than through Anyscale credits. Check with Anyscale support if you are unsure
