Baseten

Prerequisites

A Baseten team.
A team admin, to create the API key. Baseten publishes no billing-only permission, so the key that reads usage can also deploy and call every model on the team.

In the Baseten console, go to API Keys and create a key. Copy it.

Baseten has no billing-only key. Create this key on a dedicated identity, since it can also deploy and manage models.

Open Connect Providers, select Baseten, and paste the key under Team API key. Click Add Team API key.

The connection moves to Connected. Your first data appears within a day.

Create a new team key in Baseten, paste it into Connect Providers, then revoke the old key from Baseten's API Keys page.

Disconnect Baseten under Connect Providers, then revoke the key from Baseten's API Keys page.

Symptom	What to do
No data before January 2026	Expected. Baseten's usage summary API has no data before that date
Costs look incomplete on a team with multiple members	On teams-enabled organizations, usage is visible only to Admins. Confirm the key belongs to an Admin
Spend is missing for some models but not others	Token-level detail for Model APIs is retained for 92 days. Older Model APIs usage will not appear even though dedicated inference and training history goes back further
